Patrick Taylor, Associate Artistic Director & Resident Actor
I was born and raised in scorching hot Miami, FL and then relocated to a less scorching hot Jacksonville, FL as a teenager. I earned my Associate of Science from the Florida School of the Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Marshall University, both with an emphasis in Acting.
Some fun facts about me:
- I have webbed toes.
- When I was a kid I spent ages 8-11 dancing Schuhplattler, a traditional style of folk dance popular in southern Germany and Austria.
- I have a parrot named Henry who occasionally wants to hang out (he's shy).
- I've played the role of Van in Dog Sees God three times in different productions.
I've been living in New York City since September 2013 with Jordan and Josh. I've worked professionally at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre in Lewisburg, WV as well as 13th Street Repertory Company, Times Square Arts Center and the Tank in New York. This November I'll be playing Joe in Pretty Theft. Outside of acting I'm also a freelance photographer specializing in portraits, alternative process photography!
